This article summarizes a report from Bowker that shows computer books represented only 3% of all new books in 2004. This is a continued download trend for computer books since the dot-com bust. I've also heard from various sources that computer book sales are not recovering to the level once anticipated. Not a great time to be a computer book author :-/
